We would like to acquaint or reacquaint you with a service we have here in our community, GVP HELPING HANDS. This group will support neighbors when medical issues limit their ability to manage household duties such as meal prep, mail or prescription pick up, dog walking, light house or yard work, to name a few.

We are neighbors supporting each other through difficulties. You can reach out, and we will meet with you to assess how we can help. This information is then distributed using an online app to a list of GVP volunteers who can look at the needs schedule and volunteer to assist. Volunteers always have the option to opt out of contributing.

Confidentiality is vital and you can choose from our email list of volunteers those neighbors you are comfortable asking for assistance. Our goal is to help people by providing short-term assistance until family or permanent help arrives.
